The Grand Hall, with its 24 foot tall oak walls, beautiful maple floor, and unique and beautiful craftsmanship is a venue unlike any other, making it the must have location for any discerning bride or event planner.

The original judge’s bench has been outfitted to serve perfectly for beverage service.
When your guests hear, “You may now approach the bar,” they will do so in Grand Fashion! Additionally, the original courtroom jury box remains in the room but is easily transformed into an elevated stage for the seating of your honored guests, cocktail tables, or as a performance stage for entertainment.

The Grand Hall is wired for internet capability, has room-darkening draperies to set the room for your video presentations, and amazing acoustics.

Occupancy:

The room is thirty feet wide, sixty-two feet long, and has soaring ceilings of twenty four feet. Pass through the leather upholstered grand entry doors and into an additional 500 square foot pre-function space available in the windowed and well appointed marble corridor.

Capitol Suite
With its marble walls and soaring 16' ceilings, the Capitol Suite is formal enough for any board meeting, private reception for visiting dignitary, or small wedding ceremony. If formality isn't what you seek, the Suite is equally suited for staff retreats, family gatherings, bridal showers and overnight getaways. Plush furnishings and grand atmosphere make this the ideal location for any event, in addition to being available for overnight and extended stay lodging.
Pavilion
Built for comfort in 1924, this amazing space is the place to go for one of a kind bachelorette parties, bridal showers, staff retreats, graduation events, family functions and Husker tailgate parties! Furnished to perfectly suit six for overnight stays, it is also available for day functions. If your needs are strictly business, this cottage located behind the main building, will not quickly be forgotten by your discerning clients and board members. Raise the bar by transforming ordinary business functions into specialty events in these over-the top locations.
The Capitol Suite and Pavilion are available for day use at the cost of $50 per hour, two hour minimum required, with a $250 maximum cost. The Capitol Suite is available for evening functions after 5pm, accommodating groups of 60 for formal dinner functions at the rate of $100 per hour, with a $400 maximum.
